can anyone figure out what's wrong with my tablet? I think it's the pen...

my pen randomly stopped writing when I was using it to draw today.

first I tried replacing the battery, thinking it had died. that didn't work.

upon further investigation, the tablet sometimes recognizes the pen if I hold down the button, but that's a hassle and it eventually stops working anyway, such that I have to mash down the button over again.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tablet drivers, it still isn't responding.

the model is Aiptek Slim Tablet 600U, if that helps any.

this is the worst place for this to happen. I use my tablet every day, and I'm in the middle of nowhere, can't drive, don't have any money...

just as I was beginning to draw some new character references too.

this sucks.

Dr. E. Coli (born with the unpronounceable first name of ☈) grew up in a deserted Minnesotan town off the coast of Zimbabwe. Through the acquisition of a magical watch chain, Dr. E. went through rigorous, supernatural training to hone such skills as procrastination, apathy, and daydreaming. The pseudo-doctor later moved on to compete in a galaxy-wide Lacrosse tournament, only to lose at the championship against a competitor known only as "Meringue." Crushed, E. went back to Earth, desperately searching for other ways to fulfill one's destiny.

Today Dr. E. resides in the "Colicave," eating Ritz Chips and plotting world domination in the form of musicals. Though art is also a hobby.
